The Laboratory of Ancient Drama and Theatre Research (L.AND.THE.RE.) was founded at the Department of Theatre Studies of the Faculty of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2003 and since then it operated continuously until 2019, when its internal regulations were amended. Since its establishment and until today, the Laboratory of Ancient Drama and Theatre Research has been supporting in practice and framing theoretically research, educational, training and publishing needs and quests focusing on ancient drama/theatre and its reception by the modern artistic, academic and cultural-social stage, in Greece and abroad.
