The Laboratory is headed by the Director, who is a member of the Teaching and Research Staff of the Department of Theatre Studies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, specialist in a subject area corresponding to that of the Laboratory, and who is elected in accordance with the legislation in force.
The Director has the responsibilities defined by the legislation in force, including the following: the coordination of the teaching (undergraduate and postgraduate) and research work of the Laboratory; the preparation and submission of the annual operating plan of the Laboratory and ensuring its implementation; the staffing of the Laboratory with the necessary personnel; the financial management of its resources; the submission of the annual report of its activities; the recommendation to the General Assembly of the Department regarding the persons responsible for the consumables and mobile equipment; the signing of any document and in general the responsibility for the effective operation of the Laboratory.
Through an electronic ballot conducted on 18.04.2023 using the information system “Digital Ballot ZEUS”, following the call for elections of the 10.03.2023, Professor Aikaterini (Kaiti) Diamantakou of the Department of Theatre Studies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens was elected as Director of the Laboratory for a three-year term.
